We had a great party for Doug's birthday and it was a total blast!! I made a Zombie cake, and as usual it turned out better than I thought it would! April & I looked all over DL for birthday hats and then we realized we were in DL--so we ended up making our own!! And they were awesome!! They made great props for the pictures!! We partied at the PaddleWheel and all got pretty wasted!! Doug had to make a couple of trips to the bathroom to share the birthday love-and some cake-with the toilet!! But even though we all felt a little bit queasy the next day, it was all worth it!! So Happy 29th Annual Doug Day!!! Can't wait til next year!!

Your cakes are very cool. You should make specialty cakes as a business. I like Doug's idea of naked people. Could you make me a naked man for my birthday party on Saturday??? Just curious.
I've thought about going pro but I want to have my own house to do things in. It's kinda tough to do everything between 2 kitchens. And a lot of my stuff is packed away, so who knows what I have hiding in storage?! I haven't tried any "naked" cakes, but I'm thinking that might be one to try fondont on..which I've never worked with before! I've got some learning and lots of praticing to do before I do it for real!!
